Radio Free Isaac biography
There's not much info about RADIO FREE ISAAC around, although they were one of the most important bands on the Croatian post-rock scene.

They were an instrumental band formed in Zagreb, in the summer of 2002. The story started when Neven Kamenski (keyboards) joined Alen and Sasha (guitar); after a minor line-up changes Alen's brother Sale joined in and the ball started rolling.

The band recorded a few songs in the Kozmo Studio (with Vlado, who was briefly in the band prior to Sale), and did a small tour around Europe. In October, Ozren Mlinari�? joined a band, which now becomes a unit with two drummers.

Next year they entered into a studio and recorded their debut album, titled 'Broken Hearts & Other Mortal Wounds', which was released for Swedish Black Star Foundation label.

The band stopped their activity in 2004 - Saša, Ozren and Neven formed DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS, arguably the best-known Croatian post-rock unit to this day.

The RADIO FREE ISAAC music is intense, melting post-rock bulid-ups with punk's raw edge (which is not surprising, sinc its mebers were playing in various post/punk/alternative/stoner bands, such are CHANG FFOS, LUNAR, NIKAD, which all left a significant trace on Croatian indie scene). Indeed, band's daring song titles such is 'Shoot You In The Head And Paint My Walls With Your Brains' depicts their music well, although they're also capable of more introspective, daydreaming textures.
