7th Nemesis biography
7TH NEMESIS is a French experimental/ progressive extreme metal act formed in 2001 in Le Perreux sur Marne, Île-de-France. The band was formed on the ashes of Black/ Death metal act SARGANAS. The band currently consists of Sargon on Vocals, Alex Sauzet on Guitar, Nicolas Coudert on Guitar, Alex G on Bass and Selvmord on Drums.

7TH NEMESIS released the "Scourge of the New World Order" promo CD in April 2002 but their first official recording was the 2003 "Chronicles of a Sickness" split album with PUNISHMENT. The band self-released their debut full-length studio album "Violentia Imperatrix Mundi" in May 2006. However 7TH NEMESIS re-recorded, remixed, remastered and retitled the album in 2008 and released the album as "Archetype of Natural Violence" in June 2008. According to their Myspace site the band started recording their next album in February 2009. As of now it hasn´t been released yet.

The band play a mix of progressive death metal and experimental extreme metal with industrial elements.

7TH NEMESIS inclusion in the Prog Archives database was approved by the Progressive Metal Team.
