Fish Eye Lens biography
FISH EYE LENS, an obscure psychedelic jam outfit from Dallas, were formed in late 80s by four of the founders of The Burnin Rain, another 13th Floor Elevators' follower band. Mark MIGLIORE (bass), a co-founder of Rockadelic Records, and Jim EDGERTON (guitar, voices, sitar) carried out their own project of more psychedelic progressive rock within only two months of the formation of the previous band. Mark and Jim, with the collaboration of the two Rainers - Erich ANDERSON (keyboards) and Chris GORE (drums), released their debut LP 'Fish Eye Lens' (only 500 copies) from Rockadelic Records in 1990. In December 1991 FISH EYE LENS performed a gig on the stage in Dallas, which was released as the second album named 'Live 1991 ~ The Buddha Sessions' in 1997. Soon after that Erich and Chris went back to The Burnin Rain, and FISH EYE LENS might be disbanded without any notice.

Erich and Chris are still active as members of The Burnin Rain. Jim is currently offering musical classes to aspiring students in Dallas. And sadly, Mark took his own life in 1996, under a pain of drug abuse.
