The Wings of Fire Orchestra biography
THE WINGS OF FIRE ORCHESTRA is a US based outfit instigated and lead by US composer and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Pflaumbaum. The aim of the band is to create sophisticated horn-rock like it was made in the 70's, with comparisons made towards, amongst others, Frank Zappa's Grand Wazoo. Big band progressive rock is another description given the musical output of this particular act.

Their debut album Bullfighter Ballet was isued in 2006, while the sophomore effort Prospice saw the light in early 2009. A third album featuring guest musician Basil Alexander is in the works, which will be the first live album by this outfit.
