Capricorns biography
CAPRICORNS is an instrumental progressive metal band from London, United Kingdom consisting of Nathan Dylan Bennett (guitar), Kevin Williams (guitar), Dean Berry (bass) and Nathan Perrier (drums). Originally featuring ex-members of bands ORANGE GOBLIN (Chris Turner, drums on EP), IRON MONKEY (Dean Berry), and BRIDGE AND TUNNEL (Nathan and Kevin).

The band recorded a self titled three track EP in 2004 and released their debut album "Ruder Forms Survive" in 2005 on Rise Above Records. The song titles are vague references to historical events and the album includes a guest appearance of OXBOW's vocalist Eugene Robinson on the track "The First Broken Promise."

In November of 2008, they have released their second full length album "River, Bear Your Bones."

CAPRICORNS blend psychedelic/sludge/doom overtones with crust, metal, and 70s progressive rock. They should be a welcome addition to riff driven metal fans. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and are very highly recommended!
