STEAK NUMBER EIGHT is a young upcoming Belgian post-metal band comprised of members Brent Vanneste (vocals, guitars), Joris Casier (drums), Jesse Surmont (bass) and Louis Provost (guitars) all of which are between the ages of 14 and 16.

In 2008 the band rose to fame when they won the Humo's Rock Rally made for upcoming bands. Later that year the band self-released their debut LP "When the Candle Dies Out..." and in 2009 the band re-recorded a new version of the song Blood on Our Hands found in their debut and released it as a single.

STEAK NUMBER EIGHT's sound is in the vein of bands like NEUROSIS and the "Neurot back-catalogue".
