Keelhaul biography
KEELHAUL is a progressive metal band from Cleveland, Ohio consisting of Aaron Dallison (bass, vocals), Dana Embrose (guitar), Will Scharf (drums) and Chris Smith (guitar, vocals).

In 1997, they recorded an eight track demo that the band made available as a CD-R.

KEELHAUL released their debut album "Keelhaul" on Cambodia Records in 1998 and it would be re-released by Escape Artist with different art work.

In 2000, they released an EP "Ornamental Iron" on Hydra Head Records followed by their second full length album "Keelhaul II." They released a CSD "Anodyne" in 2002, and their third studio album "Subject to Change without Notice" in 2003.

The band has finished recording their fourth studio album "Keelhaul's Triumphant Return to Obscurity" and was released in July of 2009.

KEELHAUL is a hardcore/post metal band that draws influences from technical metal, math rock and stoner/sludge. They should be a welcome addition to fans of MASTODON, CRAW, ISIS and EYEHATEGOD. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and come very highly recommended!
