Mammoth biography
MAMMOTH is a Post Metal band from New Zealand formed in 2006. The band's current lineup is Louis (vocals, violin, guitar), Geoff (guitar), Ricky (guitar), Ben (bass) and Wazza (drums). Between 2006 and 2008 the band spent hard effort writing and recording what would become their debut EP. Along with the writing of the EP the band had a few lineup changes before coming to their current lineup.

The band released their self-titled debut on February 2009. They have already started work on their next release. The band sites Isis, Jakob and Cult of Luna amongst their highest influences.
