Dianogah biography
DIANOGAH is a math rock/post rock band from Chicago Illinois that formed in 1995 by Kip McCabe, Jay Ryan and Jason Harvey. The band distinguishes itself by the use of two bass players and one drummer. The band's name was taken from the garbage compactor monster in the movie Star Wars: A New Hope.

The band released their debut album entitled "As Seen from Above" in 1997 through Ohio Gold (CD) and Actionboy Records (LP). Amongst their highest achievements the band contributed to the soundtrack of the 1998 motion picture Reach the Rock directed by William Ryan. In 2000 the band released their second album "Battle Champions" and in April 2002 the band released their third album "Millions of Brazilians" which featured Rachel Grimes of Rachel's and John Upchurch of Coctails.

In 2008 the band released their fourth release "Qhnnnl" through Southern Records just like their previous two albums.
