Trinacria biography
TRINACRIA is a progressive-extreme-black/death metal band formed in Norway in 2005.

(From the band's website): "TRINACRIA was originally a composition by Ivar Bjørnson (ENSLAVED), Maja S. K. Ratkje and Hils Sofie Tafjord (both from FE-MAIL), commissioned by Rikskonsertene for a concert series. The line-up was completed by Grutle Kjellson, Ice Dale (both from ENSLAVED), Iver Sandøy (EMMERHOFF) and Espen Lien. In short: after working together briefly, the composition turned into a vital project which, after touring, became a fully welded band."

TRINACRIA released their first full-length, "Travel Now Journey Infinitely" in 2008 to a good reception from the metal world.

Their music has elements of Norway's traditional black metal plus elements of progressive, death metal, doom and noise, a blend that creates a unique, original sound.
