Meet Me In St. Louis biography
Meet Me In St. Louis is a band formed in Guildford, UK, in 2005. Their name is taken from a 1940's Judy Garland film. The four members of the band "set on creating something slightly out of the norm", and made songs that had "schizophrenic time-changes, blast beats, huge guitar riffs and catchy vocal hooks". After playing in small venues and touring all Eastern Europe the band released their first recording through Function Records in 2006. After receiving praises and accolades the band set out to record their first full-length album, "Variations On Swing", with producer Alex Newport in early 2007 and was released in September of the same year. Before releasing their debut Meet Me In St. Louis also released their single in September called "All We Need Is A Little Bit Of Energon And A Lot Of Luck". Sadly the band reached its end after Toby and Paul left the band in 2008.

Meet Me In St. Louis is a band that fans of Cap' N' Jazz, At The Drive-In, Youthmovies (formerly Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies) and similar like-minded bands can enjoy. They've received great reviews from their live shows and debut album. Highly recommended.
