BROM biography
Brom is a quartet of skilled jazzists writing and performing a mixture of free jazz, punk and improvisation. Based in Moscow, their first self-release dates in 2008. They took three years to have their first album released by a label.
The quartet as of 2025 is composed by Dmitry Lapshin (bass) also in Dogs Bite Back and Ototsky Quartet; Ivan Bursov (sax) ; Felix Mikensky ( electronics) also in Backwards illumination, Borisov Mikensky Duo, Catatonic Leisure, Drojji, Lichna Nega and Bogdan Ivlev ? drums.
Former band members were Anton Ponomarev - Sax, Konstantin Suhan - Trumpet and Oxana Grigoryeva - Drums
