Betaphony biography
Betaphony is a duo formed by the Betancourt brothers. Pablo, a professional full-time sound designer, Ariel award nominee and founder of Cerbero Sound Lab recording studio, and Diego, longtime passionate composer and "Pantalla de Cristal Award" winner.

This project is about taking influences from classical & film music, progressive rock, alternative rock and electronic music to emphasize the power of harmony, melody and texture replacing the usual sung lyrics to provide a musical landscape that is always aimed at telling a story on its own.

We compose, record, mix and produce our own music at Cerbero Sound Lab, where we have been able to enrich our work with collaborations with film directors, dancers, sound designers and even a culinary Chef to expand the musical horizons to other visual and artistic areas. As a result, our music has been part of film and dance festivals in Mexico and around the globe. As a live set, Betaphony's music gives an opportunity to experience a vast range of emotions and moods, from dreamy soundscapes to dark, introspective dance music.
