San Pedro's Vision biography
SAN PEDRO'S VISION originated in and around Liverpool, UK circa 2010 as a blues band. Preferring to be referred to sans surnames, Tom a.k.a. Bottle (guitar), Sam (drums), Stu (synths) and Dean (vocals and guitar) formed the group's original lineup. They took some time off when Bottle's partner had two kids. Around 2015 they got the band back together with Stu in charge of bass. He left the band for a short while and they had a few bassists step in and eventually Chris landed. In this period they slowly morphed into a psychedelic/space rock act as evidenced on their 2018 debut and sophomore albums (both singles) Buffalo Sessions and Beyond the Veil, respectively. In 2019 Stu re-joined on synths and Dean left shortly after releasing their first EP Twilight of the Elephant Gods. Later that year Alannah Pybis joined as their new singer and two EPs followed, 2020's Subconscious Reflection and 2022's Elysium.

In their own words, their music is "a musical take on the journey of the consciousness through the use of psychedelics, discovering healing and meaning, letting go of what does not serve you and then marching forward...". Crafting vast soundscapes with mesmerising instrumental bridges in a live setting in the studio, it's all about jamming and seeing what comes out in an attempt to capturing the intricacies of a trip occasionally transporting you back to the 60's psyche rock.
