Saga biography
SAGA from Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands was founded in 1975 by brothers Jos and Ernest WERNERS, drummer Paul van VELSEN and adding later on keys Guido GOEBERTUS. The band disbanded in 1993 after some line-up changes and reformed as US in the late 90's with all three original members. The music is symphonic prog using lots of mellotrons reinventing the GENESIS model before many other Neo-Prog bands did in the 80's.
