Galaxy biography
formed 1976 in Bremen, Germany, disbanded 1979

GALAXY were a short-lived German progressive band comprised of Bernd Steinhardt and Frank Dahme (guitar, vocals), Thomas Asche (bass), Gottfried Antp�hler (keyboards) as well as drummer Heiko Beck. They existed for a dozen or so gigs and recorded one self-financed album 'Visions' that had a circulation of about 500 vinyl copies. The English lyrics are oriented at Sci-Fi themes, music-wise there are similarities to Grobschnitt, Eloy and Hawkwind to note. The album was re-released on Garden Of Delights in 2002.
