Time to Burn biography
TIME TO BURN was an atmospheric sludge metal band from Paris, France, formed in 2002. The original lineup featured Sébastien le BOUARD (guitars), Eddy DULUC (vocals/guitars), Christophe MARCONATO (bass) and Julien BONICEL (drums). Following a demo and an independently-released EP, TIME TO BURN were signed by Basement Apes Industries, and issued their debut album, "Starting Point", in 2005. MARCONATO would be replaced by bassist/vocalist Grégory HOEPFFNER by the time of TIME TO BURN's sophomore LP, 2007's "Is.Land". The band went into an indefinite hiatus sometime afterwards, with a four-track compilation of hard-to-find songs issued digitally on their Bandcamp in 2013.
TIME TO BURN's fierce and abrasive noise rock and post-hardcore-inspired songwriting is similar to CULT OF LUNA, OVERMARS, AMENRA, TEPHRA, EINNA, BATTLEFIELDS and SHORA.
