THEOS

Theos biography
Founded by Richard GRENKO, THEOS is a mostly one-man experimental/post metal project. In 2011, GRENKO took some recordings that he had previously made on his own and translate it to a full band. Getting help from Cody FOWLER from EYRIS, Matt LYNCH from CYNIC and Johnny DAVIS also from EYRIS, THEOS was originally formed focusing on all things atmospheric and heavy and in 2012, the debut album "Ouroboros" was released.

In 2015, GRENKO started recording material for another album to be released under the THEOS moniker. Most of this material was thrown out and, starting from scratch in 2017, work on the new album began. After many deployments and relocations over a period of 6 years, the album "Precognitive" was finally released in August of 2021.

The style of music that you can expect from THEO is an atmospheric and heavy post-metal sound that also utilizes ambient metal styles mixed with progressive rock and even hints of shoegaze. The music should appeal to fans of RUSSIAN CIRCLES, LANTLOS and CLOUDKICKER.
