The Old Mill Free Ensemble biography
THE OLD MILL FREE ENSEMBLE is a collective formed by five like-minded musicians who are all active in other bands too. That would be the Red Sun core Stefano Dusi (guitars), Mirco Dugaria (bass) and Federico Rivoli (drums), plus second guitarist Riccardo Cavicchia (Da Captain Trips) and W�rzburg, Germany, based Horst 'Sunhair' Friedrich (synths).

In Summer 2019 they met in a cosy rehearsal space inside the Albone Old Mill near Piacenza, Northern Italy. The collective never had played together in this constellation before. Three tracks were distilled out of extended psych/space jams that happened on a beautiful midsummer night. Their first album 'Moments' was released on Sunhair Records in 2021.
