Morbid Coal biography
MORBID COAL, a band founded by drummer and composer Marc FRIEDRICH from Zurich, Switzerland, is a concept based progressive metal band. The music combines progressive metal, complex grooves, heavy riffs, dark moods, jazzy guitars and pop melodies with the haunting voice of Philipp SANER, the guitar work of Roberto BARLOCCI and Jonas WOLF with Yannick URBANCZIK on bass. In July of 2020, the band released its debut EP "Faceless".

Influences of the band are LEPROUS, PORCUPINE TREE, LAMB OF GOD and PLACEBO.
