Ophicina biography
Hailing from Turin, the Rock Progressive Italiano project OPHICINA has been making their unique brand of music since 1990. Their lineup has changed quite a bit over the years, revolving around founding members Roberto Messaglia (keyboards) and Gianfranco Carosso (drums), currently also with Antonio Fazzari (bass), Rosario Insola (guitar), Gabriele Cossetta (guitar), and brother and sister Francesco and Anita Contini (vocals). They have until now released three albums and have played live extensively over the years.
