Morrighans biography
A Le Péage-De-Roussillon-based project MORRIGHANS (named after a Celtic deity with three faces, accompanied by crows, wandering on the battlefield and carrying the dead, according to their words), were founded in 2012 by two music creators Fanny THIBERT (voices, keyboards) and Laurent WILB (guitars). After recording demo material, they've invited Georges-Marc LAVARENNE (guitars) in September 2015, Richard MANTOVANI (bass) in November 2015, Hervé GAMBONNET (drums, percussion) in January 2016, and Séverine DEMMER (keyboards for gigs) in September 2016.

Since January 2017 MORRIGHANS have gigged many times in prestigious venues e.g. the artists' house in Chamonix, the Ninkasi in Lyon, the Gresiprog Festival or the Brin deE Zinc in Chambéry. In September 2017 Séverine and Georges-Marc have left the band because of personal or family reasons. In January 2018 Vincent SICAUD (guitar) has joined as a second guitarist, and finally they've released their first full-length album titled "A Blood Stained Piano" in March 2018.
