Saluki biography
Founded in Oslo, Norway in 1975 - Disbanded in 1977

SALUKI was a progressive jazz rock group consisting of Freddy Dahl, Peter Berg Nilsen, Kjell Rønningen, Sverre Beyer and Bjørn Jenssen. This group that consisted of some of the members of JUNIPHER GREEN or RUPHUS, or in the case of singer and guitarist Freddy Dahl both, released just one unique and eclectic record that while inspired by influences like MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA or even Miles DAVIS also crossed over into pop, funk and other genres.
