Slows is an electronic project of UK's Multi-instrumentalist Matthew Simms. Simms may be better known as a member of Indie Rock band It Hugs Back, and as a current member of legendary Post Punk group Wire. As Slows however, Matthew delves into minimalistic electronic music. Making use of a Farfisa organ, modular synths, reverbs and delays, Simms creates slowly evolving organic soundscapes, with a haunting and beautiful dreamlike quality. For fans of Terry Riley, Peter Michael Hamel, etc.
