Lana Lee biography
LANA LEE is an instrumental psychedelic progressive rock band from Zaragoza, Spain. They started making music together in September 2003, with the original line-up consisting of Javier (drums), Roberto (bass), David (guitar) and Nacho (guitar, vocals). Shortly after the completion of the first demo songs, David left the band and the remaining members decided to stay as a trio instead of looking for a replacement.

While beginning to play live on a regular basis they could gain some attention within the local scene and recorded their first EP 'A Date With ...' in 2007. Two years later a second EP 'Troubled Times' followed. After a critical period, they gave their music another twist by evolving into a fully instrumental band with a significant melodic approach. This led to some controversy among the band members, but they managed to write new material and rearrange old songs. The results took form in '#3', the third EP which was released in 2012.

During next year the band suffered from some setbacks due to health and personal problems, but finally could record some new songs for a regular album. In February 2014 the original drummer announced his departure from the band and the process was postponed, Until two months later, Manuel, an old friend, stepped in and became the new drummer, whose playing style brought fresh air and powered up the musicality of the band. 'Lana Lee', their fourth EP and second instrumental recording, was completed around the end of the year.

They have been very active further on with frequent gigs and festivals, which have led them to open for the American desert rock pioneers Yawning Man, taking place in Zaragoza in September 2016. Two 'M.D.A.H' volumes followed since then with the purpose to display the more experimental side of the band.
