Limp biography
LIMP was a post rock quartet from Denmark which released one album in the early 2000's, "Orion", a record now widely considered a Danish cult classic. A predecessor to the more well-known psych rock band CAUSA SUI, LIMP was originally formed by, then pre-teenagers, Jonas MUNK (guitar, synths), Jakob SKØTT (drums) and Jess KAHR (synths) in 1992 under the name PARAGONS OF VIRTUE.

The band recorded the track Infected for the Progress/Diehard Records compilation "F**k You, We're From Denmark, Vol. 4". Other angry and growling bands from Denmark filled the rest of the album. During 1995, the band performed in youth programs on Denmark's two national television stations and played gigs with other Progress Record bands. Between 1996 and 1998, they changed their name to LIMP, reflecting the offbeat and new limp feel they were producing.

By 2001, Rasmus RASMUSSEN (bass) had joined, and the band recorded several demos. In March the following year they released their sole album, "Orion", through the German label Morr Music, known for their electronica flavors.

The music on "Orion", which can be described as downtempo and ambient post rock meets electronica, would later form the basis of the styles and sounds explored through the band members various solo projects: MANUAL (MUNK), SYNTAKS (SKØTT) and AEROSOL (RASMUSSEN).
