4 stars 'Vernice' with a proven RPI attack, Phrygian vocal, violin and oriental-Irish melody; the meticulous synth, the bouzouki, the clapping hands, Andalusia, the progressive variation which gives pride of place to Emanuela; a whiff of Caravaggio for the dark chords.
