Releases information

A first pressing of 1000 was made where the intended clear vinyl with coloured splashes actually turned out to be a muddy greenish brown colour which the band weren't happy with. Worse still upon playing them they found that they also had a slight edge warp. The band rejected this pressing and around 790 copies were sent back to the pressing plant for recycling. The band kept around 10 and the remaining 200 were transported over for sale in France as one of the bands' friends was travelling over there and they couldn't wait for the corrected re-pressing. This has of course led to this pressing being a highly sought after item for Stereolab fans despite it being slightly faulty. A second corrected pressing of 985 copies in clear vinyl appeared shortly after.
