Track 3 derives from a larger, abandoned, project Three Dreams Of Descartes, an oratorio in which the philosopher pits his rational self against various personal demons that come wrapped in differnt kinds of Time.
Track 4 was written for the Henry Cow group, performed at concerts in 1976-77, but never recorded until now.
Track 6 was written for real orchestra and later tapped into a computer & revised for midi instrumentation.
