5 stars Alberto Rigoni's "Nemesis Call" is a stunning instrumental album that masterfully blends progressive metal, shred, and neoclassical metal. Featuring 17 tracks contributed by talented musicians from around the globe, the album showcases Rigoni's virtuoso bass guitar skills and intricate compositions.

One of the standout tracks, "Blade of Despair," captivates with its intense riffs and melodic passages, highlighting Rigoni's ability to merge different musical styles seamlessly. Having not only composed but also mixed, mastered, and produced the album, Rigoni ensured complete creative control over the final product.

As a bassist, I find "Nemesis Call" particularly captivating. The intricate bass lines and the interplay between instruments create a rich, textured soundscape that is both challenging and rewarding to listen to. Rigoni's command of the bass and his ability to craft complex, yet melodious, compositions make this album a true gem in the world of technical music.

"Nemesis Call" is a must-listen for fans of technical music, offering a captivating journey through the diverse facets of modern metal.

4 stars This is an album to get to know the virtuosos who will make history in the coming years. An excellent record where Alberto Rigoni, a bass master in his own right, shines a spotlight on his guests, allowing them to shine - and shine they do. Rigoni, with his bass, always creates the perfect connection between the various tempos of the songs and the highlights of each instrument. A special mention also goes to the exceptional production quality of this album. It is outstanding and requires multiple listens to fully grasp all the details that compose this masterpiece. Speaking of my personal taste, songs like Symposium make us travel and dream, completely immersing us in their sound. Truly remarkable!
