4 stars "Lifeīs game" Jarre-style synths, Purple keyboard, dithyrambic symphonic opening, Wolfgang abuses his bass and Chris launches a Banks-style keyboard solo; perfect intro with a rich orchestration, varied with a bold sound, dub and crazy bass; one of the most beautiful intros of this year, that's saying something. "The Final Days" arpeggio guitar, crystalline sound with Gabrielian flute, the more this grandiloquent, solemn side with choirs and sonic power in the chorus while the verse remains subdued; the final enjoyable climb before the explosion. "Kate" in mid- tempo with an invasive vintage keyboard and hypnotic dark vocals; the break sets the neo-prog climate with a gripping heavy base for a hypnagogic sensation. "A glimpse of hope" acoustic guitar cascading quickly accompanied by the harpsichord and Chris' typical voice, metronomic atmosphere before the syrupy rise; country trumpet and warm finale with the instruments which swell and swell the air before descending causing shivers. "Conradīs anger" more rhythmic with masterful Marius and sovereign Chris on this symphonic entry; the climate settles with Chris's redundant imprint and his very particular phrasing; a restrained rise before the Marshmallow Genesisian keyboard solo "Burning Rope" aided by the drums; the finale merges the instruments for a feeling of calm.

"Pain" continues, it vibrates, leaving the listener perplexed by an icy Scandinavian folk ballad with an embellished flute. "In Forest Deep" returns to the Collins era for an intimate ballad; it goes up suddenly, then comes back down, forcing the Genesisian dream with a powerful keyboard solo rising in power; descending finale. "Wandering Soul" has a fat, heavy, sticky sound on layered keyboards, like an overboosted dark wave; the guitar to go even further, the magic of this musician managing to launch so many different climates on quite similar notes; the final enjoyable climb. "The tear from the heavens" piano and Parsonian vocal arpeggio for the consensual ballad magnified by the incisive, sublime feminine voice of Sonja. "Echoes of Humanity" closes with the mystical intro and the stunning intro; the bluffing title which seems to go into repetition and yet another progressive drawer which makes one listen, it is majestic, captivating and effective.
