I had this album on the to-do list for months, but finally I took a listen to it. A what a nice surprise.

Of course, you can hear that Rock Progressivo Italiano style there, obviously, Italians prog rockers had always something unique. But that's not all. Here you can hear from classic soft prog sections to heavier sounds, high contrast between sections (in terms of style, dynamics).

"Jerofante", the last song is a perfect example of that, in 10 minutes you go from a piano intro and spooky section, to the complete chaos and ferocity, with strong vocals, weird harmonies and distorted guitars? and then back to a soft section, before going to a triplets section with double kick! And then, a big ending for this album.

I have to mention other songs as well, "Animali sintropici" and "Chanson ballad�e", both are my favorites here. The instrumental section of "Animali sintropici" is simply awesome, catchy and very rhythmic.

Great album, I was surprised.
