3 stars Crossover prog!? Nah this here is like soft prog metal. Sure the vocals are always clean but aside from the occasional piano part this is thumping drums and aggressive guitar that can chug. Don't forget bass that's there and it's enjoyed.

Anyways the music on this album spans from gentle acoustic piano playing to video game soundtrack kind of music to prog metal. The music flows well, songs are pleasant enough on the ears and the album isn't too long and it has a modern well produced sheen to it (a positive or negative for some worth mentioning as it also pertains to the singing). Still I think there are is room for improvement, for one the vocals are almost always in English which means they are delivered in an accent which strikes me as odd as the guy can sing in Spanish without sounding inarticulate. One of my biggest gripes is that the singing is very present but often times not very memorable and the songs are largely similar yet not quite on par with one another, thus I think the fella would do well to trim there ideas down until only the best remains.

Overall this is a well done debut that doesn't soar enough for me to give a better * though I think it is worth checking out just not with expectations of the moon.
