5 stars A Suitable Mourning Period is the second studio album by Irishman David Alfred REILLY. I must say that I gave the album 5 stars as a sign of respect for David. The album includes only two clean instrumentals, the rest of the material is recorded with a vocalist. And so...I will describe what I liked most about this work. Track #1: Great instrumental . Very mystical-mysterious opening theme with wah-wah guitars (very soulful). Crying keyboards... very very sad melody. A kind of cinematic theme. It pierces my heart, honestly! Then this theme is replaced by an energetic period. A variety worthy of the highest praise. Track No.2 : a kind of airy song (Pink Floyd influence?). Track #5: a very strong song with tenacious vocals and phenomenal guitar parts influenced by Maestro Fripp (but with its own performance zest and bells and whistles).Track №6 : another magical instrumental, a kind of post-rock + art-rock cross ? with an interesting drums-programming part .Very, very tenacious and touching melody! In general, throughout the album, the author offers us listeners a lot of worthy solutions and commendable melodies and arrangements! What will be the third studio album by Effa Lente? I'm really looking forward to his next release. Good luck to David with that. Thank you for the MUSIC!
