4 stars Ty Tabor is the true writing force in Kings X. His collaboration with Doug makes the band what it truly has evolved into over many years, to be a powerful force in rock. When he goes into his side projects he can get a bit more prog. and introspective. With this album he wants to speak about the environment and man's adversarial conflict, especially how we change the planet. The trio consists of three great players who just want to play without commercial considerations. This recording shows how the Jelly Jam has consistently put out four really good albums. There may never be another one from this project, but if you are a fan of Kings X, you should check out all of Ty's solo material and the Jelly men.

5 stars This trio has matured and delivered their best musical expression with a theme of earth, money and power. "The edge of the view, is round, the massive horizon, in the lights on the ground." Ty Tabor is very underrated as a song crafter. The lyrics for this album all go together and should be taken as a whole. There is a bit of ecological optimism and hope for a better future (if we just get together), and the overall view is positive. Altogether, Ty has put together a classic "rock" record, in the sense that it has substance and repeated listenings make it better. Kings X fans should not pass it up.
