4 stars The Japanese quintet TEE is always a pleasant surprise! I've been following the band since their debut in 2009 and I can say with conviction that the group never released a bad record! Their three studio records, so far, are all excellent.

I confess that it took me forever to hear their latest release, Tales of Eternal Entities, and I regretted it, because I could have enjoyed the album for a longer time, but as the saying goes, better late than never!

Tales of Eternal Entities brings the sound already characteristic of the Japanese quintet, Progressive symphonic rock with a lot of influence from Camel and the classic Italian bands with the use of flute as the main instrument and the guitar full of jazz phrasing. 'Epimetheus' and 'Mother Earth' are my favorites.

Unfortunately the group continues to release their albums on the French label Musea Records (this particular release came out on the sub-label Musea Parall'le). I say unfortunately because the French label is notorious for not knowing how to promote its artists, and the label is still stuck with a business model of 20 years ago, thinking that simply releasing the records is enough, making finding the physical records of TEE very very hard to find and when you find they are very expensive.

Listen to TEE if you like instrumental symphonic progressive rock and if you like Camel and classic RPI. You will not regret it!
