4 stars One of the better ones! It's interesting to note that the tracks that stood out initially are different from the ones that have 'staying' power.

'Broken spectre' and 'Debate' seem like 'ambience/atmosphere' music. Both are long, and both are good. Now I'm not a metal person, but there was something that I immediately liked about 'Turntail', by Caligula's Horse. It was Metal, yes, but it seemed somehow different, accessible. I still like it. Alot.

Nad Sylvan's album was acclaimed in the magazine that this free CD comes with. Whilst I'm not sure about his singing voice, I'm sure about the quality of the song - very good.

I have the Enid's 'Bridge' album (which overall is a disappointment), but the World seems to stop when 'First light' begins. It's almost a carol, it's so profound and touching. It strangely stands out on this CD. I hadn't noticed how good it was when listening to the 'Bridge'.

The first song to attract my attention, was 'For Johann', which has some excellent playing on it, in places sounding like the first incarnation of Eddie Jobson's UK. I was surprised by the actual theory behind the project that this song comes from.

After which, there's not much more to say.

The 'core' of this album are tracks 3, 5 & 6. These songs will remain in your head afterwards. Actually, a very listenable 'demo' I have to say.
