2 stars I found this album to be much less interesting than "Fuera del Cielo", the only earlier album I have thus far heard from Litto Nebbia. Where that album was steeped in the Canterbury style of jazzy prog, this one is more of a straightforward South American light jazz rock set.

There are a few songs that captured my attention, however. The opener and title track, Bazar de los Milagros, while simple instructure has some nice solos. And Bituca, the only truly prog track from the original release, is as fine a somg as I've heard from Nebbia. And it also includes an excellent guitar solo.

My copy has some bonus tracks. While these are short and more experimental than anything on the original album, they all have an unfinished feel to them.

4 stars Discussing the enormously huge body of work of Litto Nebbia on Progarchives talks a lot on how diverse the A-Z browser of this site could be, being that most Nebbia´s discography has little to nothing to do with prog music. Here to put some ray of light on an artist I enjoyed non-stop for decades, collecting and paying careful listens to my favourite records of him. From those, the 1976 album "Bazar De Los Milagros" ranks in my top 3 podium. I feel It´s 2.24 average /2 and a half stars here now is totally unfair and un-accurate. Once again, as on past Nebbia works the Nebbia /Defilpo society perfectly combines words and music. Mirta Defilpo (bn. 1944, died 2011), then Nebbia´s wife provided lyrics to 7 songs here with the exception of the almost 8 minute running time beautiful instrumental opening title track wich sets the mood and pace of the whole album. For those who can understand spanish language it is strongly recommended not to miss such a delivery of her dark, nocturnal, melancholic poetry, also harmonizing vocals with the man. If you are not that familiar with this artist himself and the wide range of the music styles he masterfully encompasses please go to the very well written info on his main page here in Progarchives. If you dare to dive in a so deeply emotional, touching and beautiful piece of work, wich you can legally label as folk - semi progressive at times - bossa nova flavoured, give yourself some 40 minute spare time and enjoy this masterpiece. Rating should be 4 and a half.
