SYNCRONIZED

This is SYNCROMIND PROJECT - Or: How two people deliver the energy of an entire band. I read about this band here on progarchives and I felt I had to get this album since I really wanted to know what "SYNCRONIZED" was all about. Gosh - This was my first reaction after hitting the play button and listening to the first few seconds of what those two musicians claim to be their debut album. This album is a quite interesting one as the tracks are very diverse. The tracks really go off well as they tend to get even better as the track count moves on. The conceptional cover artwork, as well as the synthetic appearance of the whole piece of art really fits well together and the tracks deliver an awesome blend of heavy riffs, polyrithmic drums and really nice chorus-like melodies that create a well apreciated contrast to that intense rhythmic work. The band seems to focus on tricky and skillful backing work, which is done in a really interesting way and which can be found in almost every track on "SYNCRONIZED". The efforts of Enzo Ferrara and Vito Lis culminate and concentrate in "61 67", the last of the eight exciting pieces of music. This track seems to span any musical facet of "SYNCRONIZED". Which in my ears lead to the conclusion that this album is really worth listening to as both musicians are pretty experienced on their instruments and in whatever it took to create this fantastic debut. I guess and I really hope that there will be more to come from SYNCROMIND PROJECT. I'd also like tow know how they'd perform when playing live. However, next time they should perhaps make sure that all of the tunes on their album are of the same stamp which is the only reason for not giving the maximum vote. But nonetheless, "SYNCRONIZED" is a really good and well produced debut album that can be downloaded for free from their website www.syncromind-project.com.
