2 stars Having previously bought the Immersion boxes of The Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here, I would have expected at least the 5.1 audio remaster of The Wall included in the box, but it didn't happen.

Basically, all the revealing extras contained in the box are included in discs 5 and 6 (Work In Progress Part I-II) featuring very short excerpts of the original Waters' demos, including "Backs To The Wall", a track only available as part of The Wall movie soundtrack, Waters and the band demos, which include "Teacher, Teacher" -previusly unreleased, "Sexual Revolution" -a song that wasn't included in The Wall but featured later in Waters solo album "The Pros and Cons Of Hitchhiking", "Young Lust", -featuring different lyrics from those released in the finished song, among other songs demos in the early stages of production.

Beside the demos, all of the remaining audiovisual material was previously released. The very short excerpts of the Earls Court gig video hint that there should be a full feature film of the Wall live, that so far isn't commercially available.

Unlike the previous Immersion editions, the Wall box doesn't include an audio DVD nor BlueRay, but it does include other collector items like a scarf, marbles, coasters, cards, and other printed memorabilia, just like in previous Immersion editions.

This can be considered, then, material for completionists/collectors/fans only, since there isn't a big difference in the 2011 remasters by James Guthrie when compared to his engineering work back in 1979. So, even when I consider The Wall a masterpiece, the contents of the box do not really justify the price you pay for it.
