SPECIAL COLLABORATOR
3 stars We may assume that Emi ELEONOLA, an eerie & self-assertive vocal oddity, should be forcing herself upon the frontline in DEMI SEMI QUAVER - we cannot deny the fact. Very striking and (mysteriously) attractive her rampant and meaningless lyrics are, and also her violent performance dressed in sensual bondage suits. From the beginning she always opens her throttle valve full-widely and is immersed into her self-intoxication world. For example, the second track "Love Maniac" with her a flood of her voice like a aggressive launcher is an interesting hanky-panky. Contrary to such a notable vocalist, please let me say you can take notice of her "background" by the other players. DEMI SEMI QUAVER is not only her property. No rather, regardless of her activity, an avantgardic experimental collective by the other musicians can be beyond expression - very refined and strict soundspace with various, percussive (influenced by Steve?) instruments. Therefore let me emphasize that we can listen to their stuffs, not partially but entirely, wholesomely. :-)
