1 stars This is a 2 CD-bootleg of the GLASS HOUSE RECORDS label. It contains two gis of GENTLE GIANT, the first was given on 3.10.1975 in the "Music Hall", White Plains in New York and the second was recorded on 28.10.1975 at the "Community Theatre" at Berkley, California.

About the first CD: The sound quality is much better than on the second disc though it is not good. It contains the songs we usual know from GENTLE GIANT-live recordings with the exception of the rocky song called "Plain Truth". What was bugging me was the fact, that you could often hear the audience talking, but at least you could usually hear the band what is a difference to the second CD. Despite the bad sound quality I could rock to some passages on this CD (but this may only be the case because I am a diehard GENTLE GIANT-fan). The last song "Plain Truth" was very recreating.

About the second CD:

The sound quality of the first two songs is as good as the sound quality you find on the first disc and I assume that these two songs belong to the first gig. The quality of the recording of the second gig is appalling, you can hear the audience better than GENTLE GIANT. For example the guitar duett on "Excerpts From Octopus" perishes in the noise of the audience.

While listening to the first disc, I thought "Hey, this could be two stars worth" but the terrible sound quality of the second CD drags the entire bootleg down, so unfortunately I feel impelled to give it only one star.
