3 stars This is debut self-released EP of US post rock band "We're From Japan". Didn't find too much information about their name....

German Tennis Professionals (7:47) is airy and even fragile musical composition, based on acoustic strings and interesting drumming ( with some allusions to tennis ball sound). In a frames of post-rock concept though. At the song's end some heavier guitar sound adds a bit more energy.

To Telescope (10:09) is down tempo dreamy composition with nice violin strings touches. Strong side of this composition is elegant drumming added to light, but full-bodied sound. Not characteristic guitars sound, but more keys and strings, fresh and pleasant music.

Not The Thief, But His Brother (9:15) starts with guitar sound, this song is mostly guitar and drums all around (even including few controlled guitar sound explosions).

Last debut's song His Face In The Floor And One Eye Open is a faceless standard guitar based post-rock. After few minutes of silence there is a one more track (in fact just a drone).

Not a bad debut, mostly interested because of slightly jazzy drumming and aerial atmosphere in some moments.
