3 stars If I see only CD 1... Masterpiece of JR/ F. But with CD 2 this compilation is only a normal compilation!

In fact CD 1 is live with great song and great atmospheres. Clear... With these songs. Viceversa CD 2 present only songs that not sound good in my mind (except 'Feelin' Stronger Every Day').

I have both the versions of covers that are present in album page. I prefer the old cover (one on a red background) that does not have the package smil 1 CD and more 'old-style' graphics. Is not just my pedantry. Even the packaging has its weight for a proper evaluation. So many times I hear that verson.

Said this I think that this compilation is too good as budget compilation. Side 1 (CD 1) present live versions from 70's and for this motive the sound is not good for the contemporary standards. CD 2 (Side 2) present studio versions. More modern is the mix and the sound. But without the mystic glow of CD 1.

CD 1 is more Jazz Blues Rock. CD 2 is more Soul Funky AOR Rock. Extremely good soli and brass.

So, because this is the time of witches... Good listening!
