3 stars i got this as i had the cd of it to,and straight away i liked the screen moving pictures which hawkwind had on stsage at the start well nice,a good version of black corridor with mr dibs doing it and sounds good to and with tim blake on theremin and i think an instrument where he moves his hand and fingers to make sound i forget what its called but i think you know what i,m on about.and the version of aerospce age inferno is a good version but i do like the arthur brown version better on the out of the shadows dvd, space love a new song at time is a good song with more of keyboards sound in it biut with everything else playing to and to me is a song which i kinda keep get in my head in good way to a good song i think, the awakining starts with whistly noise which sounds great and keyboards playing and with mr dibs doing the poemy bit and sounds ok to,but not the best version around though but still good and with tim blake doing the finger and hand instrument thing again with out even touching the instrument which i think really suits hawkwind to as it has nice spacey sound to it,orgone accumulator a very welcome return to it here but with more of the keyboard sound in this this time but with everything else playing along nicely and brock in fine voice to and nice spacey sound in this to and abit in abit of you know your only dreaming plays along and sounds great to here and it gets back to orgone accumulator again and hawkwind making a modern sound to it althrough and sounds great to,with hawkwind looking on good form here the best song so far on this dvd, paradox is next and i like this song even the version on the spirit of the age single radio edit i loved, and on here it just sounds great with brock on form here and richard chadwick singing to and sounds great and when it gets going its really enjoyable to and tim blake doing the hand and finger instrument thing again sounds great which is the theremin actually now as i write i just remembered what it called, this version of paradox is a good version, hawkwind really sound good here again with every song so far not disapointing i love this version of paradox great, robot is next with mr dibs bass playing of lead roll here at start and this version isnt my fave version of robot but its ok brocks guitar abit in really sounds great i like how he makes it sound here good bit of playing from brock and it calms down and chadwick says the i am only a robot bit which he sounds ok,and with the dancers its ok to,but i like the love in space version better of robot, and after a bit brock has a go at the theremin for a little tiny bit and then the song ends after a bit which was an ok version of robot, abduction is next and i,ve allways liked this with mr dibs doing it and he sounds ok but i think he could put more spirit in to it like abit of a scary frightening sound to it,alien i am is next and a good song with on here with thekeyboard more insound here and is a good version but not as good as the alien 4 version or love in space,i just wish brock done all this instead of the mr dibs on vocals in bits but its still ok,master of the universe is a song i allways enjoy and this version is a good version although i do think mr dibs bass could be put up just a little on this and most of the songs so far just a little as his bass playing here does sound a little clean for hawkwind but hes still ok though this version of master of the universe is a good version, time we left is next sounds good here with hawkwind sound good here and chadwick doing the vocal bit in the mddle which sounds ok a good return to hear time we left i quite liked this version, lighthouse is next and with the keyboard playing[jason stuart and him playing on all tracks and hes a good player its a pity he died ] and sounds great here and with tim blake vocals at start and then brock and dibs do the vocals and blake playing along and this is a good version a little different but good to hear though i think tim blake should keep to doing it as it is like his song but this version is still ok though.utopia is next and i allways like hearing the song and this a good version and with the dancers dancing nicely in hawkwind way,and mr dibs here really sounding and fitting well here in this song and tim blake sounding great here to and this version of utopia is really good i think with hawkwind on good form, damnation alley next and hawkwind saying about all the smoke wheres it coming from, and mr dibs vocals sound really good here a song which fits him well i think and chadwick singing with him in bits to which fits ok together to,this version of damnation alley sounds good and jason stuart on good form to as on all of this dvd he is same with most members of hawkwind its such a pity jasons not hear anymore, sonic attack is next and this is an ok version but its more vocally done with spacey bit in back ground which could be turned up abit though and then it goes into a song bassed bit which sounds ok but this isnt the best version ive heard but its still ok to hear and when it gets going it sounds very song like and is ok then, welcome to the future is a good version with jason stuart playing really good here and brock on vocals and chadwick to and this version i quite like, and then its the end, then they come back hawkwind do flying doctor and this sounds good and mr dibs sounds ok here with everyone sounding ok here a good hawkwind song which is great to here and good here to,it stops for few seconds and chadwick says few things and then it gets going again and then ends after little bit, then next is silver machine and tim blake really making the high pitch bit sound great here a good start and then chadwick does the vocals with on drums ofcause i would of liked brock to this vocally better but it sound ok with a different singer on it and chadwick sounds ok to silver machine here sounds really good and hawkwind sound and make the song sound great as allways, and it ends and a dvd which is a good watch and the hawkwind sounding good here a dvd which is worth getting, with brock more on the guitar here and up front not hidden behind the keyboards as much as other dvds and good to see tim blake playing on theremin and upfront to and other members of band including good to see jason stuart playing as he was a good keyboard player ,and chadwick and mr dibs sounding good to,i would give this 4 stars but i think 3 is fair though if in mood for hawkwind nowadays its a 4,but 3 i think.
