This compilation is part of Edel's 'Noble Jazz Basics' series and present old songs of Miles Davis. In my opinion this compilation is good if you search the roots of Miles Davis with a budget line price. But I think that if you not understand Traditional Jazz this is only another compilation of Miles Davis.

For me the magic of Miles Davis' Jazz Rock is the same music of Miles Davis' traditional Jazz and this compilation confirm this idea in my mind.

Sure I do not have a preferred song because all the songs of this selection are good for me, according to my level of knowledge of Traditional Jazz.

because yes... Jazz Rock or Traditional Jazz... Miles Davis is always Miles Davis.
