4 stars I bought this live album in 1997 and immediately please me. it is strange to describe Tyrannosaurus Rex music because in my opinion this band, lead by Marc Bolan, plays a great Heavy Folk Rock with Prog elements that in the acoustic songs (almost all) is too close to Proto Heavy Metal also if remain good Prog music and in electric songs (in this album 'By The Light Of A Magical Moon', 'Elemental Child') is too close to pure English Folk(!) also because Marc plays electric guitar with acoustic guitar style and acoustic guitar with electric guitar style.

All the songs are good or great, without distinctions. The more Prog song is 'Elemental Child' because various for rhythms and because extreme close to Yes, also if only for suggestions. This song is played only by Bolan with a Les Paul and present a long Blues Rock part similar to Jimi Hendrix for style that is the second part of song. Good, for a mention, are also 'Pavillions Of The Sun' and 'Debora' that are two great acoustic songs.

In my opinion if Jethro Tull is your band, Tyranosaurus Rex is another band for you.

3 stars This album is published in 1993 by Windsong International and it's recorded at the Paris Theatre London, January 4th 1970. Mark Bolan is a great wizard, not only of guitar but also of an era. But not for this Tyrannosaurus Rex is my band. And this album isn't my type of album, primarly for music. Despite this fact "Debora", "By The Light Of A Magical Moon" and "Elemental Child" are great songs, also for me. But in my opinion Tyrannosaurus Rex was a great band for hippies and no other.

If you search an introductory Tyrannosaurus Rex album I think that this live is good but not because good for music but good for attitude.
