2 stars Todd was an early presence on the Web, and One Long Year is a collection of tracks that he released originally exclusively through his web site. As such, this album is pretty much of a grab bag of what he was working on at the time. It boils down to this album having two really good tracks (I Hate My Frickin ISP and Where Does The Time Go?), three tracks that are interesting enough for repeated listens (Buffalo Grass, Mary and the Holy Ghost and The Surf Talks), two reimagined tracks that will interest the first time they are heard and then bore to tears (Love of the Common Man and Bang on the Ukelele Daily), and the rest of the album being utterly forgettable.

Prairie Prince and Kasim Sulton are both back with Todd for this effort and both have some great contributions (esp. Prairie Prince on Mary and the Holy Ghost.)

Two stars for this album.... Only a real fan would get this for the paucity of good music contained within.
