From Progarchives.com, the ultimate progressive rock music website

Having loved Budgie's hard rock albums Power Supply and Nightflight I was keen to hear their latest album which has unfortunately left me rather disappointed - is this the same band Metallica partly drew their inspiration from.... ? hardly I guess.
I'm not sure which section of the market the band are aiming at with this one, at a time when legendary bands are returning and blowing our socks off this is way down in the ratings - the overall sound seems thin and processed and is filled with weak repetitive material - the first track Justice sounds like Aerosmith on a bad day, and the following two songs don't get much better, sounding like an obscure rock/metal band just starting out.
On Falling things get better, you begin to hear what the band are/were really capable of, but not up to the standard of their previous albums. Even this runs out of steam and becomes repetitive. The rest of the album doesn't get any better, Love is Enough sounding like a rejected John Lennon demo, Tell Me has a good riff in the chorus but goes nowhere, the other songs are pale and uninspiring, nothing outstanding to thrust the band back to their former glory - sorry guys, come on we know you can do much better than this adolescent elevator production line music - it will do nothing for the reputation of the band I once/still love and admire, or attract new fans to the classic Budgie magic.
