2 stars This one is an odd piece. This German two-disc collection features material recorded live as well as studio tracks from albums from different periods, namely Argus (1972), Just Testing (1980) and Bona Fide (2002). Other studio tracks appear to be rarities culled from earlier compilations (especially 2004's Backbones). There isn't any information on the origin of the live tracks (only three of them display the information that they were recorded in 2002), but all sound like they're from more recent line-ups. I'm not entirely sure about the official character of this release (it isn't listed on any of the Wishbone Ash official websites), but soundwise it is surely above the quality of your average bootleg. The accompaning libretto contains a text (in German and English) with some basic info on the groups's begginings, followed by great praise of Andy Powell's work. It's not a bad compilation, as the material on it is quite good, and can be found really cheap, but the whole lack of information makes me a bit suspicious of it.
